How does the process work?
Choose your product (size, color if applicable) and background style, upload a clear photo of your pet and place your order.
From there, we create your one-of-a-kind animated portrait with your chosen background and product styling. You’ll receive a digital proof via email within 2 business days for approval.
Once approved (or if we don’t hear from you within 48 hours), we move it into production and ship your order.

What kind of photo should I upload?
Great art starts with a great photo.
Choose a clear, well-lit image of your pet facing the camera — no heavy shadows, no filters, and nothing cropped out. Think natural light, sharp detail, and a full view of their face and body.

Can I choose the background?
Yes — and we highly recommend it!
Whether you're drawn to a dreamy scenic setting or a bold, colorful splash, we've curated a range of backgrounds to match every mood, moment, and pet personality.
Each background is designed to be completely one-of-a-kind — no two portraits are ever the same. While the overall style stays consistent, I make small custom tweaks to suit your pet perfectly. It’s all about making sure your artwork feels just as unique as they are.

How long does it take to receive my artwork?
We aim to deliver your digital artwork proof within 2 business days. You’ll get to review it and request any changes before we send it to production.
We work fast — but never at the expense of quality.
What file format will I receive with a Digital Portrait?
You’ll receive a high-resolution JPG file (300 DPI) delivered straight to your email. It’s perfect for printing, framing, or sharing online.
This format is optimized for quality and ease of use — no extra editing or formatting needed.
Can I make changes after seeing the artwork?
Yes — we want you to love it.
You’ll have 48 hours from receiving your digital proof to request any specific changes via email. If we don’t hear from you in that time, we’ll assume you’re happy and move your order into production.
In some cases, if multiple revisions are requested and the image becomes too complex to adjust further, we may kindly recommend a refund instead — always communicated respectfully and with your experience in mind.
Do you accept multiple pets in one portrait?
At this time, we offer portraits of one pet per artwork to ensure the quality and detail remain top-tier. If you’d like portraits of multiple pets, simply submit separate orders for each — and don’t worry, we’ll make sure they’re all processed together.
We’re also exploring multi-pet options for the future, so stay tuned!
Will the final image look exactly like my pet?

The file is high-resolution (300 DPI), which means professional-quality prints at home or through your favorite print service.
What if I’m not satisfied with the final product?
All of our products are custom-made with care, and because of the manual work involved, we do not offer refunds once your order has been approved and sent to production, unless the item arrives damaged or faulty.
If your item arrives with any issues, please contact us at support@buddyandmoco.com within 7 days of delivery. We’ll make things right as quickly as possible.
